Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be referred by my GP?

You do not have to be referred by your GP. However, it is good practice for your GP to be kept informed and Mr Humzah will write to him or her following your consultation and procedure(s) unless you specifically request otherwise.

What happens at the initial consultation?

Mr Humzah will take a full medical history, examine you and talk to you in detail about why you are thinking of having plastic surgery and the results you hope to achieve. He will explain the various options open you and outline any risks so that you have a realistic idea of the possible outcomes.

What happens after the initial consultation?

You will receive a letter detailing everything discussed with Mr Humzah during the consultation. You will also receive a precise quotation for the procedure(s) discussed during the consultation.

Can I have more than one consultation before surgery?

You are welcome to come back for a second consultation, free of charge, if you have further questions or concerns.

How much will it cost?

Out website lists approximate costs but it is impossible to give a precise cost until after you have had your consultation.  Once you have decided exactly which procedure is right for you a precise quotation will be sent to you in writing. This will include all the costs of your surgery.

Can I spread the cost of payment?

Yes, this can be arranged through the hospital at which you have your cosmetic surgery.
