

Plastic & Dermatological Surgery
Plastic and Dermatological Surgery is a leading plastic and dermatological service in the Midlands developed by its Medical Director Mr Dalvi Humzah, who is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon. He is fully registered with the General Medical Council (Registration No. 3296503) and holds a licence to practice medicine; his name appears on their Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. He is a full member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) which was formerly the British Association of Plastic Surgeons (BAPS).
Mr Humzah was a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in the NHS for 10 years and has maintained a plastic surgery private practice for over 10 years. He has always taken an active interest in teaching and training and has been the STEP® Tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is an examiner for the Intercollegiate MRCS for the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow. He is the Chairman of the MAC at the Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital and was previously the Chairman of the Greater Midlands Skin Cancer NSSG.
Mr Humzah provides plastic and dermatological services in private practice based at BUPA Wellness Centre Solihull, The Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital, The Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital, The West Midlands Hospital (Ramsay Healthcare), Halesowen, and BMI Droitwich Spa Hospital, Worcestershire. All the hospitals are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The Nuffield Health Hospitals are also registered with the Independent Healthcare Advisory Services (IHAS).
He provides private plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery and hand surgery consultations and surgery at the hospitals where he offers a wide range of plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery and non-surgical procedures. Mr Humzah will assess your needs during a full consultation and advise on treatment or procedures appropriate for you. Full information will be given at that time and all your questions answered.
Mr Dalvi Humzah was educated at Dulwich College in South London. He qualified in medicine (MB BS. Hons) at King’s College London in 1988 and completed his house officer training there. He continued his surgical training at various hospitals in the London area, obtaining the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 1989. He completed his specialist training in Plastic Surgery at Edinburgh, qualifying with the FRCS (Plast) degree of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1997. Whilst there he was awarded a travelling scholarship by the Royal College of Surgeons, part of which he used to visit the Sydney Melanoma Unit, studying the treatment of, and research into, skin cancer being undertaken there.
Mr Humzah is fully registered with the General Medical Council (Registration No 3296503) and his name appears on their Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery.

Mr Humzah was appointed to his first Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery post in 1998 and has maintained a Private Practice since that time.
Mr Humzah is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons and has been the Tutor for their STEP® distance learning programme.
Mr Humzah is Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee and Plastic Surgery Representative at the Nuffield Hospital, Wolverhampton. He is a member of the following societies:
Mr Humzah has developed considerable expertise in the fields of skin cancer, breast and cosmetic surgery. He has presented numerous papers nationally and internationally in all these specialist areas.
